1. Flatwise Compression Test
Test specimens are fixed on a universal testing machine for vertical compression. We record the maximum bearing force and compression deformation data to evaluate the flatwise compressive strength and load-bearing stability of honeycomb core, which is critical for energy absorption and load-bearing structural panels.
2. Flexural Performance Test
Three-point bending testing is adopted to detect the bending rigidity, deflection and breaking load of honeycomb sandwich panels. This test confirms the anti-deformation capacity when panels bear lateral bending force, guiding material matching for wall cladding, equipment housing and lighting brackets.
3. Shear Strength Test
Conducted in accordance with ASTM D1002 standard, the lap shear test pulls bonded layers along the bonding plane. It inspects the adhesive bonding tightness between aluminum foil honeycomb core and surface skins, ensuring no delamination under lateral shear force.
4. Neutral Salt Spray Test
Long-term salt spray aging test simulates coastal, humid and industrial corrosive environments. We monitor surface oxidation, black anodized coating peeling and aluminum substrate corrosion status, verifying the anti-rust and anti-fading performance of our lighting-grade black honeycomb cores for long-term outdoor and optical equipment use.
